Pharmaceutical processing based in Prague

Botanical potential. Pharmaceutical discipline.

At our processing center in Prague, we handle cannabis raw material with a pharmaceutical quality approach. We build our activities within the scope of EU-GMP and GDP on documented processes and traceability.

Our processing center in the European value chain

Cannexus Pharma is a Kings Pharmaceutical subsidiary located in Prague, Czech Republic. With its processing facility holding EU-GMP and GDP certificates, it forms an important part of the group’s pharmaceutical activities in Europe.

From the acceptance of raw material at the facility through processing and preparation for shipment, we assess quality requirements together with the process. We approach every project on the basis of the nature of the product, its intended use and the scope of our facility’s authorizations.

Our purpose

To carry out the processing of cannabis raw material within defined quality requirements and documented processes. To create a clear technical working framework by matching our partners’ product and process needs with the scope of the facility’s authorizations.

Our future goal

To be a preferred European processing partner for bringing botanical raw materials into the pharmaceutical value chain, through process discipline and technical clarity.

Processes managed within a quality system

Pharmaceutical processing

We evaluate processing projects for cannabis raw material within the approved scope of activities of our facility. Technical requirements, product characteristics and processing steps are clarified at the start of the project.

Raw material and batch assessment

We review the documentation of incoming raw material together with defined quality criteria. Preserving batch identity and product history throughout processing is a core principle for us.

Quality and documentation

We manage process records and quality assessments within the same system. Access to technical information and document integrity are the foundation of our relationships with partners.

Product flow under GDP

We handle storage and distribution activities in line with product requirements and the scope of our authorizations. We regard the product flow after processing as a continuation of the quality chain.

Every project starts with its own technical framework

We first assess the characteristics of the raw material, its existing technical dossier and the target market. We then define the processing steps suited to the facility’s scope, the quality responsibilities and the delivery terms. Our aim is an open, documented technical relationship between the producer and the subsequent supply stages.

From technical dossier to work plan

The scope of a processing project is defined by the description of the raw material and the product characteristics to be achieved. We address these two points together from the first conversation.

  1. 1

Defining the product and the goal

Share the raw material information, the existing technical dossier, the quantity and the intended processing. Together, we assess the product’s intended use and target market.

  2. 2

    Matching with the facility’s scope

We review how the requested operations fit the current facility and its authorized scope. We identify the technical clarifications and documentation the project requires.

  3. 3

    Clarifying responsibilities

We define each party’s responsibilities for product, quality, documentation and delivery. The processing scope and acceptance criteria are agreed before work begins.

  4. 4

    Planning the operation

We set out the product flow, the processing schedule and the records to be shared within the project. The process then runs within the agreed technical and quality framework.

Quality is a responsibility carried through the entire process

Raw material acceptance, processing steps and the subsequent product flow are not independent of one another.

  • Our quality approach rests on the information and responsibilities at each of these stages complementing one another.

  • We focus on preserving product identity, keeping process records clear and documenting technical decisions.

  • Every service is assessed within the actual scope of the relevant certificate and facility authorization.
